An old house that sit off hwy 25. Used to be a train station as well as a home ran with slaves. It is said that several suicides as well has murders/hangings have occured on the property. EVP voices were recorded by my husband and the voices were not nice. Once voice demands that he leave his house. Another screams “KILL KILL KILL”. Another voice of a women saying “your home my dear” as he enters the stairwell. There are many hauntings dating back to the late 1800′s that were recorded in the old newspapers. I truely believe that this property is haunted. I would love for professionals to take a look at it. It is quite interesting. The city has recently turned it into a museam. As well as this home, my current home was built on the old farm that is located across from the gaines home. I have witnessed a headless black shadow standing at the foot of my bed. My children have seen a young boy running through my hallway and my baby sitter has complained of hearing my children run around upstairs, when she goes up to check on them; they are fast asleep. My husband & I have also been standing on our back deck and heard the dead bolt on hte door turn and then we realized that something had just locked us out.
