This is the old commisary that dates back to the 1900′s. It was a place for gathering, purchasing food, and necessities that family’s needed. There was an explosion in 1941 that killed 11 men and the bodies were retrieved from the mine. There still stands a sign outside the commissary that has names of some of the men that went off to World War 2. Each had a light beside their names, (blue) meant they were safe, (yellow) meant they were in harms way, and (red) meant they would not be returning home alive. I have been down there several times and taken many pictures which I have to put on here later, but I almost always catch something. I have one in peticular that looks a man standing by the wall with a miners hat on his head. The old gas station is located on the same property and I have a lot of pictures with orbs inside there. Closer to the back of the commissary I put my camera up to the window and snapped a picture right after my father said he heard something coming from inside and when I got home and looked at it there was a face staring straight at me. I love going down there and would like to get access to the inside to take more pictures and maybe some recordings. Well I hope you have enjoyed it and I hope that you will be able to check it out.
