Santa Catalina Island, California

Santa Catalina Island (also known as just Catalina Island or Catalina) is just off the coast of California about 22 miles south-southwest of Los Angeles. Santa Catalina is technically located within Los Angeles County, California.

Santa Catalina Island has a population of about 4,000 residents, most of whom reside in Avalon or Two Harbors.

Banning House Lodge Information:

The Banning House Lodge was built by the Banning brothers in 1910. The Banning brothers owned Santa Catalina Island at the time. The Banning House Lodge was built on a hilltop above Two Harbors.

Ghosts and the Paranormal at the Banning House Lodge in Two Harbors, California on Santa Catalina Island:

The apparition of a white lady have been reported at the Banning House Lodge.

The smell of tobacco and fish have been reported at the Banning Inn when there was no explanation for the smells to be reported. Staff have claimed that the smells come from a fisherman who still inhabits the area.

The ghost of Natalie Wood has been reported near the area where she drowned.
