Beverly dunes



Location:

On Interstate 90 across the bridge from Vantage, take the State Route 26 turn off. From State Route 26 continue South on State Route 243. Take the Lower Crab Creek Road SW turn off from State Route 243 in Beverly. The Beverly Dunes are located along Lower Crab Creek Road SW.

Located near the site of Jericho about 5 miles east of Beverly in Grant, County. Grant County is in central Washington state.

History:

Grant County, where Beverly Dunes is located was once home to several Native American cultures including the Interior Salish, Wanatchi, and Okanagan. This is significant as people report apparitions of a Native American girl at Beverly Dunes.

The first white settlers in Grant County arrived in the middle to late 1800’s. They intended to raise livestock in the region and progress toward expansion and development was slow until the arrival of the railroad.

Grant County was established officially by the Washington State Legislature on February 24, 1909.
