The Black Diamond Cemetery is located in Black Diamond, Washington in King County which is in the southwestern quadrant of Washington state.
The Black Diamond Cemetery is listed in the United States National Register of Historic Places. It was founded in the 1880’s as a company mining town, but incorporated in 1959 when the mines were shut down as energy needs in the country changed from coal to oil. It was originally owned by the Black Diamond Coal Mining Company of California. The Black Diamond Cemetery was created in 1884, the same year the mine was opened.
Reports of strange lights and disembodied and strange sounds. Also some folks report seeing the apparition of a horse.
