Boston is the capital and largest city in Massachusetts with a population of about 650,000 residents. Greater Boston, however, is home to approximately 4.5 million people. Boston is also one of the oldest cities in the United States.

Puritan settlers founded the city of Boston in 1630 on the Shawmut Peninsula.

Boston, Massachusetts is historically important as the location where the Boston Massacre and the Boston Tea Party took place as well as the Battle of Bunker Hill and the Siege of Boston.

Shelton Hall is located at 91 Bay Street Road in Boston, Massachusetts. The dorm has a capacity of 418 students. Students of different specializations at Boston University are housed on different floors. On the 2nd floor are management students, 4th floor, writing students, and on the 5th floor are engineering students.
