Location:

Located off I-70. Take exit 256 and follow the signs.

The History:

William F. Cody, aka Buffalo Bill was most well known as an entertainer although he was also employed as a Pony Express Rider and an Army scout. He visited Colorado for the first time in 1859. He died at his sister’s house in 1917. He requested to be buried at this location at Lookout Mountain. His wife Louisa is buried beside him.
