Baltimore is located in central Maryland along the tidal portion of the Ptapsco River, an arm of the Chesapeake Bay. Sometimes, it is referred to as Baltimore City as distinguished from Baltimore County. It has a population of 620,000 residents.
Baltimore was founded in 1729. It was named after Lord Balitmore, a member of the Irish House of Lords and the founding proprietor of the Maryland Colony.
Ghosts and the Paranormal at the Ghost Road in Baltimore, Maryland:
When driving along the Ghost Road, some people have reported having car problems that are difficult to explain. Cars stall and headlights go out. Then, cars will mysteriously start on their own, according to some reports. Some have reported hearing someone or something pounding on the outside of their vehicle. Others report seeing that ghostly image of a tombstone with a figure standing behind it, but only when the moon is situated just right.
