Boulder Junction, Wisconsin

Boulder Junction is a tourist community located in northern Wisconsin. It is a very small community of about 1,000 residents in Vilas County.

Headwaters Tavern Information:

The Headwaters Tavern, built in the 1930′s is one of the oldest buildings in town located on a hill overlooking the Manitowish River about 2 blocks north of town.

Apparently, the owner is not terribly keen on ghosts or the paranormal. One source said that any mention of the “lady in red” and someone will escort you out of the building. Employees apparently talked discreetly about the “lady in red” in the kitchen when the owner was not around, but they are trained to discourage visitors from discussing the entity as well.

Ghosts and the Paranormal at the Headwaters Tavern in Boulder Junction, Wisconsin:

The Headwaters Tavern is said to be haunted by the “lady in red”.

Employees report strong feelings of uneasiness in the basement of the building as well.
