Kelso, Washington is a community of about 12,000 residents located in the southwestern part of the state. It is the county seat of Cowlit County. Kelso is located near Mount St. Helens.
The Heath Iron Building Information:
The Heath Iron building was built during the Muncie gas boom of the 1880′s and 1890′s. It was in use as a dry goods store in the early 1920′s. Then it functioned as the location of the Anspach Company. The building was abandoned and neglected for many years. In the 1960′s the second and first floor were covered in blue and white panels and the third and fourth floors were boarded over with wooden siding.
Recently, however, this building was extensively renovated by Underwood Architecture. Today, it contains twelve new apartments.
The Heath Iron Building Haunting:
People have reported that items move on their own without explanation at this location. They have reported strange sounds and windows opening for no apparent reason.
