Ketchican is one of the larger cities in Alaska with a population of about 7,300 citizens. Ketchican is named after Ketchican Creek which flows through the town. It is 90 miles north of Prince Rupert and 235 miles south of Juneau, Alaska.

Ghosts and Hauntings of Ketchican High School in Ketchican, Alaska:

Students claim that a ghost haunts the catwalk at Ketchican High School. Disembodied sounds including voices and other strange noises have been reported. According to locals, a young boy fell from the catwalk to his death and it is his ghost that haunts the Ketchican High School. The ghost of the boy has been affectionately named “Boochie”
