Lamothe Hotel

Guests at the Lamothe House have reported seeing ghosts and experiencing strange phenomena in some of the rooms and hallways. Specifically, there is a ghostly woman in red who appears most frequently to guests. This haunted hotel is also host to disembodied voices and the apparition of a mother looking for her children. Some guests have reported hearing children laughing when there are no children on the premises.

The Lamothe House Hotel was constructed by Jean Lamothe in 1839. He made his fortune in sugar cane. This New Orleans haunted hotel has 30 guest rooms.
