Marlboro College is a small, coeducational, alternative liberal arts college in Marlboro, Vermont. The school was founded in 1946 by Walter Hendricks. It was created to serve returning World War II veterans on Potash Hill in Marlboro.
The Marlboro College campus utilizes buildings from two old farms that were once in operation on the college site.

Dalrymple Halls provides classrooms, faculty and student offices. It was converted from a big hay barn in 1947 by Luke Dalrymple, the college’s handyman.
Students report feelings of uneasiness at Dalrymple Hall.
Howland Dormitory houses Marlboro College students. It is one of the larger dorms on campus, located close to the library and to Dalrymple.
Students also report feelings of uneasiness at Howland Dormitory. Some students have reported seeing apparitions while walking around on the Marlboro College Campus.
