Ghosts and Hauntings at the McLaughlin High School in McLaughlin, South, Dakota:
The McLaughlin High School is said to be haunted by a janitor. Janitorial ghosts are fairly common, it seems, throughout the United States. Tales of janitors falling from high places, or dropping dead while vaccuming are common at public schools in every state. In McLaughlin, the ghostly janitor is said to have passed over after slipping on the wet floor near the pool. Now his ghost is eternally mopping hallways at McLaughlin High School.
The ghost of a P.E. teacher/coach has also been reported at McLaughlin High School. He is eternally bouncing basketballs and the disembodied sounds of bouncing balls apparently happens when the lights are turned out in the gym. From time to time real bouncing basketballs apparently will materialize and smack into people who are standing in the dark in the gym at McLaughlin High School.
