Revolutionary War hero, Nathanael Greene lived at the Nathanael Greene Homestead, also known as “Spell Hall” from 1770-1776.
After Nathanael Greene’s passing, the house was owned by his brother, Jacob Greene and his wife Margaret.
The Nathanael Greene Homestead is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

People have reported disembodied footsteps and cold spots at the Nathaniel Greene Homestead. They have also reported hearing the sounds of cannons firing and the sound of people screaming. Doors slam on their own without explanation.
