Thibodaux is located in southeastern Louisiana. It is the parish seat of Lafourche Parish along the banks of the Bayou Lafourche. It has a population of about 15,000 residents.
Ellender Hall Information:
Ellender Hall is a six story co-ed residence hall at Nicholl’s State University. Most of the rooms here are double rooms, but some of them are quad rooms.
Nicholl’s State University- Ellender Dormitory Haunting:
Students at Ellender Dormitory have reported unexplainable phenomena including flickering lights, moving objects, and strange scratching sounds on the walls. They’ve also reported electrical problems with electrical objects. Some students have even reported the “walls shaking”.
Nicholl’s State University-Polk Hall Haunting:
Students have reported seeing the apparition of a boy with a backpack going into the library. When people followed him to see where he was going, he disappeared.
The ghost of a woman in white has been reported on the upper floors of Polk Hall.
Also, the apparition of a confederate soldier has been reported on the lower levels of Polk Hall.
Nicholl’s State University-Student Union Haunting:
Staff have reported hearing doors slamming when no one is in the building. They have also reported the sudden appearance of footprints on the floor when no one was in the building.
