Rawlins High School

Rawlins High School

Rawlins, Wyoming is the county seat of Carbon County. The community was named and founded in 1882 by John A. Rawlins, a civil war general who camped there. It was incorporated in 1886. Rawlins is home to about 8,500 residents. Oil is the industry that fueled (no pun intended) the development and perpetuation of Rawlins as a community.
