  1. In the 90′s, my sister and I grew up in Woodland Hills and played at Shadow Ranch Park almost everyday. We liked to rollerblade and would often lap the park a few times before playing in the park itself. My sister and I both got an eery feeling each time we would pass the white brick building on our skates and I would feel compelled to skate faster, just to get away from it as soon as possible. Being a child at the time, I never questioned the feeling but simply ignored it. One day, I was playing in the sand when I noticed a person in the second story window. I can’t remember if it was a boy or girl, but was absolutely positive there was someone up there, looking back at me. A couple of days later, while we are playing on the park swings, I notice my father talking to the park ranger. When I asked him what they talked about, he told me that she was giving him a history of the park, including the building that had been boarded up for quite some time; the same building I saw the little boy/girl in.
