History:

The St. Francis Health Center was founded by the Sisters of St. Francis and the Sisters of Charity. It was the first hospital in Colorado Springs. The facility was founded in 1887. It was originally a treatment clinic for injured railroad workers.

Apparitions of a nun with blood on her clothes have been reported.
