History:

Interestingly, East 4th turns into the Riverview Cemetery Road, just beyond East 3rd North outside of town. The Riverview Cemetery Road leads to the Riverview Cemetery nearby. On the Shadowlands Haunted Places Index for this location, it was reported that the old city graveyard was moved and the Sweetwater County/Green River Library was built over this old graveyard. So we did some research and although we have not definitively proven this as a true fact, we have found that there was indeed a cemetery “move” that took place in 1926 and a number of bodies were “lost” in this move, including the bodies of some children.

Paranormal Reports:

Reports of strange noises and books falling from the shelves for no explanation. Electronic Voice Phenomenon has been captured for this location (according to reports).
