Covington is the parish seat of St. Tammany Parish, Louisiana. It is a smaller community of about 9,000 residents located at the fork of the Bogue Falaya and Tchefuncte River.

The Old SSA School is a private, Roman Catholic, all girls high school in Covington, Louisiana. It was established in 1903 by the Benedictine Sisters.

Visitors to the Old SSA School report hearing strange sounds that cannot be explained. In particular, they report disembodied screams and other odd noises at this location.
