History:

Medicine Bow is located along the Medicine Bow River and originally served as a watering station, supply depot, and trading post along the Union Pacific Railroad. Currently it is home to about 260 residents.

The Virginian Eating House is a restaurant and hotel. It was featured in a novel by Owen Wister called The Virginian. It was once the largest hotel (a whopping 3 stories) between Denver and Salt Lake City. Built in 1911, the structure is over 100 years old. It is on the National Register of Historic Places.

Paranormal Reports:

Items have reportedly been moved from one location to another. Also there are frequent reports of apparitions throughout the hotel.
