The Joseph Jefferson Mansion is located at Rip Van Winkle Gardens in New Iberia, LA. The property is said to be haunted by the founder of Jefferson Island, Joseph Jefferson. Strange light anomalies including green balls of light have been reported at the mansion. Disembodied footsteps have been reported and large objects are sometimes moved out of place for no apparent reason when no one is on the property.

The Joseph Jefferson Mansion was constructed in 1870. It has four stories and 22 rooms and today, it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Tours of the property take place between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM seven days a week.

The Empress Hotel in Victoria. The apparition of thin man with a mustache walking the halls with a cane who is thought to be that of this building’s architect, Francis Rattenbury, has been seen.
