The Northwestern University campus is said to be haunted by a female presence that lingers near a place where the Bullard Mansion once stood. This is where the three columns are located on campus. These three columns, a remnant of Bullard Mansion have come to symbolize Northwestern University. Students refer to the ghost as “Isabella”.

Apparitions have also been observed near the old women’s gym.
