Location:

Located at 9300 E. Union Ave. at the intersection of Arapahoe and Parker Rds.

History:

Student lore claims that a young girl was beaten by a teacher inside the school in the 1930’s.

The school began educating students in 1874 in a one-room schoolhouse. This schoolhouse was located about 1 1/2 miles away from it’s present location. The current school opened it’s doors in 1955. This building has been added to four different times to accomodate the growing student body.

We have not unearthed any information in our research to indicate that the story of the beaten girl is true.

Haunting:

Disembodied screams coming from inside the school. Apparitions of a young girl walking are observed along the "greenbelt".
