History of Roscoe, South Dakota:
Roscoe is located at the intersection of Highway 12 and Highway 247. It is small community of approximately 324 people in Edmunds County, South Dakota. Edmunds County is in northeastern South Dakota.
In 1999, a Learjet carrying PGA Golfer Payne Stewart crashed in Edmunds county.
Ghosts and Hauntings at Roscoe, South Dakota:
Students report that doors will open and close on their own and that disembodied footsteps walk up and down the stairs at night when no one is in the building. Students report that it is the ghost of Janitor Harold. Janitor Harold is thankfully not alone, as any janitors are blamed for school hauntings throughout the United States. Many of them spend an eternity cleaning after falling from a high place or becoming impaled on a sharp object.
