Fort Yates, North Dakota

Fort Yates is located in southwestern North Dakota. It is a small community of about 200 residents located in Sioux County, North Dakota. Fort Yates is the tribal headquarters of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe and the county seat of Sioux County.

Disembodied voices as well as the sound of lockers slamming and showers turning on and off by themselves have been reported by students who go into the boys locker room at Fort Yates Middle School alone.
