Ghosts and the Paranormal at the Hilltop Hotel in Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia:

In 1798, America was close to going to war with France. Although there never actually was a war, soldiers were sent to Harper’s Ferry. They paraded down Main Street every night. Sadly, many of these soldiers died of a cholera outbreak and are buried at Camp Hill, but they still are said to march through town from time to time with fifes and drums. The Hilltop Hotel is host to some of these ethereal guests. Visitors have reported seeing apparitions of soldiers marching through the rooms.
