Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre

According to local lore, the courtyard at Le Petit Theatre du Vieux Carre was once the site of an unhappy wedding. The bride jumped off the side of the theatre to her death. Visitors occasionally see her apparition, standing at the spot where she jumped off the building. Cold spots have also been reported.

Some visitors have tried to see the ghostly bride in the reflection of the water in the fountain with some success.

The ghost of an old man has been reported. He wears clothing from a previous era and he is often spotted sitting in the audience, reading a newspaper.

Props and other items come up missing inexplicably and smoke detectors and other electronic items will occasionally malfunction or behave strangely.

The haunted theater is a well-known fixture in the New Orleans performing arts community. It has been presenting theatrical performances for nearly 100 years.
