Pleasant Hall once functioned as a women’s dormitory at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge. There are rumors of murders and suicides that took place in the hall. One of the most famous stories involves Room 312. According to local lore, a young couple got into an argument in this room and the girl accidentally shot her boyfriend. Though the boy was injured, he didn’t die. Unfortunately, the girl ran upstairs in a fit of despair and shot herself. Since that time, strange noises and other paranormal activity has been reported.
