Some people say Pleasant Hill Cemetery is haunted while other people say that reports of a ghostly young mother and her son are completely false. According to local lore, the mother, Mary Lee Stone Krueger, and her son, Fred, were killed in a fire.

It is a well-kept cemetery and visitors should behave respectfully and consider contacting local police before doing an investigation. The cemetery is located on the southern side of DeRidder, LA. Go to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church located on Pleasant Hill Road. Turn left on the first street you encounter on Pleasant Hill Road. Continue for a block to the cemetery.
