The Spanish Moon nightclub in Baton Rouge is rumored to be haunted by at least one ghost that has made appearances as an apparition. Believed to be a male, this ghost is said to be a remnant left from the days when the building served as a “wino flophouse” although it is also possible that the haunting originated in the days when the building functioned as a fire station.

A number of different types of paranormal activity is said to take place here including beer taps turning on by themselves, strange noises, and objects flying through the air inexplicably.

The Spanish Moon is open Monday through Saturday 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. According to their Facebook page, it’s a place “Where souls go to die.”
