Bellflower is located in southern California. It is a suburb of Los Angeles and a city in Los Angeles County. Bellflower has a population of 70-80,000 residents.

Bellflower incorporated as a city on September 3, 1957. It is named for the bellefleur apple, which was grown in orchards in the area in the 1900’s.

St. John Bosco High School Information:

St. John Bosco High School is a Catholic college preperatory school. It is named after Saint John Bosco.

The Saint John Bosco High School building has a fairly interesting history. Originally, the St. John Bosco High School was founded as an elementary and intermediate boarding school by the Salesians of Don Bosco in 1940. The first high school class graduated from the institution in 1956. The boarding school was closed in the 1970’s. During World War II, parts of the St. John Bosco School were used as a military barracks. Today it is a Catholic High School with approximately 1,000 students enrolled in grades 9-12.

Despite the interesting history of the Saint John Bosco High School building, reports of paranormal events are somewhat sparse and nondescript. Students claim that the ghost of a male student is reported to haunt the Senior Square at St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, California.
