Built by Phillips Exeter Academy to house vising parents and other guest in the 1800, the Inn was sold to a private hospitality company in the 1990’s. I worked as a front desk clerk from 1999 to 2003. In addition to many stories from guests themselves, the housekeeping staff reported feeling like they were being watched, lights and faucets turning on and off on their own and items being moved around. I personally had to take a cot up to a room on the third floor. There were not many guests up there that night. From the moment I stepped off the elevator until I stepped back on after the delivery, I felt as though I was not only being watched, but followed. I had goosebumps and I had to keep looking over my shoulder to see who was there but no one was. I avoided the 3rd floor as much as possible after that,
